F is for Fantasy

In modern times, the opportunity for non-consensual spanking gets rarer and rarer.   And that is a very good thing in reality.

In spanko fiction, that a spanking is non-consensual can add spice to the scene:  which gives the author the choices of going back in time or of asking the reader to really, really suspend disbelief in order to enjoy one's latest tale.

The third way out is to go into the land of fantasy:  if you create your own universe, then every law in it is at the dictate of the author.   Creating a whole universe is a bit overwhelming, so we tend to give you insight into just a bit of one.   One that caters to the plot needs.   If we have a brand new "Department of Corporal Corrections" set up in down-town New York, we don't want to bore the reader with too much information about how it got built: just now that it is built, let us follow the adventures of various inmates as they go about their dealing beatings.

I have dabbled in fantasy - "The Gleam in Her Eye" uses eroticobots as a plot device to explore various aspects of the spanko psyche.   ("What's an eroticobot, Dave?" I hear you call.   It is a young lady dressed as a robot to make the tale work.   Don't worry about it - it is all great fun (advt.) ).

I have just loaded on the free stories section a speculative work that takes the notion of the Djinn (or genie) as being not a jolly wish-granter but a being of a deeper darker entity.   Enjoy.

And afterwards to drop in to see Stevie MacFarlane's  piece entitled "Fly your Freak Flag".

  1. Sorry, I like a good fantasy, but other words for non consensual are rape and abuse.Spanking authors should stay as far from non consensual as they possibly can. It inspires people with no respect for women at all, and I really, really, really hate rapists and men who abuse their wife.

Excuse my intense reaction, but I am a bit touchy on this subject. But each to their own fantasy, I suppose.

    1. I completely understand your position: in real life non-consensual spankings are abhorrent. Perhaps such an attitude is part of the spanko psyche - in a recent survey of spankos, over 70% of respondents were opposed to the spanking of children. The figure for the population at large is just over 30%.

But if we disallow all things in fiction that we are opposed to in real life, we lose more than we gain. No more murder mysteries, no more Game of Thrones, and so on. We authors are allowed to explore the dark side of humanity: not to revel in it, not to encourage others to participate in it: but to explore, examine and - yes - to entertain, even. (I challenge anyone to put up a case that the tale Djinn and Flick is likely to engender in the reader a desire to beat a young lady against her will).

A significant number of adults spend their RL domestic discipline lives acting out as near to a non-consensual relationship as they can achieve. And I have no problem whatsoever with that. The line gets drawn when someone gets victimized against their will.

  2. Okay, you've got me. I really want to see how eroticobots work in a spanking setting. lol That was a great return to the original mythology of the Djinn, by the way.
